An introductory course on making handmade paper with cotton and abaca fibers as well as recycled fibers found around the home will be taught in this workshop.

You will learn the difference between pulling a sheet vs. pouring a sheet of paper, a bit about the history of papermaking and how it came about, as well as receive a valuable information package with loads of papermaking information. 

All the paper you make you will get to take home!

In this class you will have premade sheets of handmde paper made by me to design and build your own 24 page coptic stictch journal. 
You will design your own cover with many mediums available in the studio. You can cover it in beautiful paper, stamp it, paint it, glitter it. Collect your own pressed leaves, flowers, pieces of cloth to personalize your cover!
